Scope and similar technologies

This policy covers the Retsu™ public website, including translated pages and the signup handoff. Cookies are small browser files. Local storage keeps values in your browser separately from cookies. Both are covered below. The Portal Cookies Policy (sign-in required) describes the separate platform, login and integration technologies.

Privacy preferences — necessary storage

retsu_cookie_consent — a first-party cookie recording your analytics choice and its expiry. It lasts 180 days from your latest choice.
glintly_consent and retsu_consent_expires — first-party local-storage entries recording the same choice and its expiry. The site stops relying on the choice after 180 days and removes expired values when you return. Browser storage may remain on the device until that visit or until you clear it.
These entries remember your privacy choice, rather than measure browsing. Ordinary page visits do not extend the period. Older choices without a recorded expiry require a fresh choice. Preferences apply to the current browser and site origin, not automatically to another device, browser or the Portal.

Optional analytics

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 load only after a valid analytics acceptance. Rejecting analytics or leaving the choice unset prevents the website from loading these tags. There is no analytics iframe fallback when JavaScript is disabled. Advertising consent remains denied.

Analytics can measure page views, referring URLs, approximate location, browser/device information, sessions, button and link clicks, click positions, scrolling, downloads, form events, search terms where used and signup-handoff visits. The configured form-event tags do not include your enquiry message.

_ga — a first-party Google Analytics cookie used to distinguish visitors.
_ga_<measurement-id>, such as _ga_8QDEG5V9EM — a first-party Google Analytics cookie used to maintain session state.
Google documents a default lifetime of two years for these cookies; Analytics settings and browser limits can change the actual lifetime. See Google’s cookie documentation. Browser developer tools or site-data settings show the expiry of cookies actually stored on your device.

Contact-form security

Google reCAPTCHA loads when you focus, click in or start entering information into the contact form, or attempt to submit it. It operates separately from optional analytics to help protect the requested enquiry service from spam and abuse. Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser information, and may set the third-party _GRECAPTCHA cookie for risk analysis.

Google controls the lifetime of its security storage; the exact expiry and any other Google cookies involved depend on its service and your browser or Google session. See reCAPTCHA’s cookie information, Google’s privacy policy and terms. If you prefer not to load it, contact us by email instead of using the form.

Changing your choice and clearing data

Use the buttons above or follow the Cookies Policy link in the footer. Accepting and rejecting are equally available. Rejecting after acceptance disables analytics, attempts to remove accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page to unload existing tracking code. It does not delete information already sent to Google or cookies belonging to another domain.

Browser settings can also delete cookies and local storage. Clear both types of site data to remove a stored preference completely. Blocking storage can prevent your choice being remembered. You can browse and submit an enquiry without accepting analytics; reCAPTCHA is separate.
